In this creative, hands-on class, you’ll learn approachable techniques for designing and painting your own decorative plate using paint pens. Whether you’d like to sketch freehand or trace from one of our ready-made designs, you’ll leave with a finished piece that feels uniquely yours.

    • Explore ceramic painting techniques: experiment with different paint pens, layering color, and small fixes for clean, polished results.

    • Create your own design: sketch freehand or use a transfer method to bring a favorite motif to life while learning about composition and flow.

    • Bake and seal at home: no kiln needed! Learn how to safely bake and protect your piece for long-lasting display.

    No prior art experience required, just curiosity and a love for making beautiful things! Each participant will take home a finished decorative plate and the confidence to continue creating custom ceramics at home for gifts or décor.
