Layered Watercolor Landscapes

Are you interested in the magical world of watercolor? Do you want to learn how to create beautiful watercolor landscapes that jump out of your frame? Join us to learn how to create your very own layered watercolor landscape. We will walk you step-by-step through the process of creating a landscape scene of your choice and teach you how to give your piece dimension with layering.  

In this 3-hour class, you will:

• Learn watercolor basic techniques: Wet-on-wet, washes, detail work, and color mixing


• Explore landscape composition basics: parts of a landscape, rules of third, and different types of compositions


• Get tips for how to create a dynamic layered watercolor painting

You will leave with your one of a kind 5x5 framed landscape painting, and the skills to paint with confidence again and again. 

Choose from a BYO paints ticket for $68 or a ticket with watercolor materials included for you to take home for $78. If you choose a BYO paints ticket, here is what you'll need to bring: a watercolor paint palette with an assortment of colors. If you have a brush, please bring it with you. We will also supply a #3 brush for you to use during class, along with plenty of paper.
