Looking for a fun and unique way to customize your clothing? Or want add a splash of character to that pocket with a hole in it? Come and learn how to create a hand-sewn peekaboo patch with us! This class is for all skill levels, no embroidery or mending experience needed. We will walk you through everything you need to know, whether you are looking to repair your favorite pair of jeans or just add some extra flair!
In this 2.5-hour class, you will:
- Learn fundamental hand-sewing stitches including the straight stitch, back stitch, and blanket stitch
- Get step-by-step guidance on applying a peekaboo patch to your clothing
- Explore creative techniques for incorporating stitches to infuse personality into your garments
You will leave class with a peekaboo patch and the skills to customize your clothing to your heart’s delight. As a bonus, we’ll send you off with a beginner's toolkit including the essentials: a 6-inch embroidery hoop, embroidery needle, threader, and safety pins - everything you need to tackle your next patching project in style!
