Jams are a perfect way to capture the bright flavors of seasonal fruit! We'll teach you the artisanal nature of homemade jam and walk you through the creation of your own batch using local berries and unique ingredients for a flavorful twist. This perfectly balanced recipe is great on toast, yogurt, and (our personal favorite) ice cream! After reviewing different ways to preserve your jam, including a step-by-step on the water bath canning method, we'll celebrate with a taste test - ice cream sundaes featuring vanilla ice cream and our fresh batch of jam. You leave with a pint of jam you canned yourself and the skills to keep preserving all summer long!
