Big Garden, Small Space | March 23

Big Garden, Small Space | March 23

from 0.00

Live in an apartment but still want to grow food? This class is for you! We’ll teach you how to grow food in containers, on your window, or in a shared rooftop garden - all you need is a little sun!

Your ticket includes the small space garden collection from our friends at Seattle Seed Company, featuring one packet each of lettuce mix, marigolds, basil, cherry tomatoes, and snap peas. We’ll cover big picture garden planning concepts like knowing your site, mapping your garden, and planting schedules, and then we’ll get down to brass tacks focusing on these five seeds.

You’ll leave with a road map for your garden this year and beyond. If you have garden planning questions, this is the place to be!

Saturday, March 23, 11am-12:30pm

As a small step toward making The Works a space for everyone, we save one spot in every class for someone who wants to attend but otherwise can’t afford to. This is an honor system program - read more about it here. All ticket sales subject to our Terms and Conditions.
